  1. Reading about her current situation saddens me. I am happy she is open about her traumatic experience. Her article opens my heart to other women who have gone through pregnancy difficulties. She gave me insight to how strong, strong people who go through these types of things everyday, have to be. My heart goes out to her and I also appreciate life & all of my siblings and new babies who had normal births to a new degree.

  2. I'm glad you liked the piece--I really liked the way it was written as well.

  3. That is quite a story. I don't know that I can say sad, because while traumatic, the outcome has been positive. And I can't say happy because there is nothing happy about that serious of an issue. Inspiring is the word, I suppose. It is nice to know they are both OK, and like she said, she has a wonderful story to tell her daughter about how strong she was even at two pounds.

  4. This article was very well written and she did a good job of protecting her privacy while still giving enough details to get her point across and explaining her "new normal". This really puts life into perspective and people should really donate because, like she wrote about, women go through this and they might not be able to pay for afford or be as lucky.
