  1. I can't believe people would actually try to blame any of the pollution here in the United States on birth control. We pump so much junk into the environment, I don't really see how estrogen would have any effect anyways. This is just another way to try and control women's rights. We women have the option to have kids or not, and that includes taking birth control. And this conservative organization just wants people to think that women are somehow not responsible enough to swallow a pill. That all we know how to do is throw it on the ground. Get real.

  2. I don't see why anyone would want to slander the pill seeing that it's a good use to women. I would think conservative people would try and get together to put an end to birth control pills. I don't see how the pill is causing pollution to our environment when we have way bigger problems that is causing pollution such as, farming. I think that birth control is a good source for women who is not trying to have kids at the moment or at any point in time. It is also good for those who already have children and isn't ready or not able to financially take care of any more. Taking care of kids is a lot on someone and if they feel that they want to reduce their chances of having any or anymore then why should someone try to prevent them from doing so? I know it's other ways to prevent from getting pregnant but what if women tried those ways and only feel comfortable with the pill? I think that the pill should be left available for women.

  3. Thanks, Stephani and Shaletta. The conservative ideology is that women shouldn't be having sex unless it's for the purpose of getting pregnant.

  4. When I read the title of the article, I was hysterical with laughter. I thought, are you serious? I couldn't believe that a group would be slanderizing the pill because the "supposed" male decline in fish. I agree with Shaletta. This is another way to talk bad about the "pill". The environment is being harmed everyday, and birth control is part of the blame? When actuality the birth control pill helps the environment. It helps with human population. It prevents unplanned pregnancies and gives women a choice to have sex without getting pregnant.

I agree, This is ridiculous for someone to try and discontinue the birth control pill. Women are just suppose to have sex just for reproduction is crazy and the fact that they feel that all males species should be dominant about all others is also unbelievable. We should have just as much rights as a man do not to have a child when we're not ready and still be able to enjoy sex with our partner.

  6. Jazmyne,
It's a very interesting idea that women have a right to enjoy sex.
