  1. By reading this, this does NOT change my view of Nikki Minja. All around the world of Female EmCees we know nikki Minja is an AMAZING lyricist although most of her rapping is punch line. and thats what she is known for. i listen to nikki's music all the time and nowadays thats what rap is looking for. Punch lines, Showing off skin and nice beats. New generation of hip hop is not like it was back in the 80's and early 90's when it was about a message or a struggle. and i feel that that the author of this article is living in the past of hip hop and female EmCeeing, granted that was AMAZING messages that were being told by yo yo, salt and pepa, Lady of Rage , Mc Lyte , Queen etc... thats not what they want to hear now. and in so many words this lady doesnt understand that at all.

  2. I don't think Crunk is trying to evaluating Minaj's talent and skill--she's just trying (and not that successfully) to apply a feminist analysis to Minaj's work.
