This IS big news, but it doesn't mean women have achieved it all--read/listen to the entire article.

  1. This article just brightened my day! Although it says that on average women still make less than men, I am so excited to hear that many women are making more money than men! I have known that women still outnumber men in college, but every time I hear that statistic I am just as surprised. The one part of the article that I do not like very much is where it says that many colleges are now trying ways to lure men in...aka with sports or organizations for men. I do not think this is necessary. To me, it just seems like another way to try and get men back in the dominant position. Men have just as many opportunities in college, if not more, they do not need special incentives for coming to college.

  3. This is great to see and hear from the other many downside effects of women in the economy. It is defiantly prominent that women are more likely to go to college and to receive their degree then men. It is just as likely that this factor is why the women are making more money. I guess if men want to make as much money, they should get that degree.
It was fascinating knowing that women out number men at college, and also that they are trying to attract men to college more these days.
    Girl Power.
