I found this article very interesting. It is good to know that academically women are progressing. More women are enrolling in college resulting in higher graduation rates. In 2019, it is predicted that women will make up 60% of all undergraduates. The real kicker is that even though women are succeeding academically, financially they are not. The average woman still makes 75 cents to the dollar as compared to men. This data collected is useful because we can track the progress of women as a whole. I also believe that this data needs to be collected more frequently. If overall women are more educated than men, then why not at least receive the same pay as them? Anatomy should not matter, only intellect.
