This really interest me and her arguments are valid. On top of that if the mothers die then wouldn't the baby die too? I would be interested in reading something more in depth about the bill.
I think that the Dr. should look at other options depending on what the situation is. After the 7th month there is a pretty good chance that baby could survive on its own, so in that case c-section and then treat mother maybe?
I think, and would assume, that a pregnant women would want to know her options before anything is done to her or her unborn child. If she is not for whatever reason capable of making that decision (like being unconscious) then it should be passed on to her husband or family if she isn't married. Some women may choose their unborn child over themselves, but the point is that it an life or death situation it should be their choice.
Jen Sorensen's message is that women are slowly losing their rights. The humor in the comic is that when pregnant women's lives don't count and they classify closer to zombies than anything else because the fetus inside of them is what really matters in the government's eyes. These four comics are focusing on pregnant women's rights showings that once pregnant you basically don't own your body, the government does. Within the past few years there has been a major rise in the interest of women's body rights and how the government is trying to do whatever they can to take those rights away.

Thanks, Sami!
