  1. The story of Ms. Ledbetter is a prime example of the state women’s place in the common union work force is. The treatment and blatant financial discrimination she faced i believed could not happen. Living in the United States i believed that we were past petty discriminatory actions like this. I pray that she received the equal pay and treatment that she deserved. I am purely shocked.

  2. It's shocking to see that Mrs. Ledbetter got shot down by the supreme court. There is no reason why she should be paid less than any other manager at her job. I often hear that women are paid less than men for doing the dame job but I have never really it seen like this. Mrs. Ledbetter honestly looked like her life was in shambles. She is honest and sincere about her story and I hope she receives compensation for all the years she didn't not recieve equal pay as her male co-workers have. David VanDerway
