After watching the video of Hilary Clinton, I've gained a lot more respect for her. I was not aware of her views on lesbians, gays, and womens rights but now that I know she is trying to shape a society where every minority can have equal, potential rights and opportunities as any one else. This also, reminded me on one of our class discussions where Dr. Stovall commented saying in order to make a change we have to have a vision first. Like Martin Luther King Jr. and like Hilary Clinton, they have a vision of equal opportunities for all.
This video was great, I agree with Kristen. I applaud Secretary Clinton for putting out a video like this. We will live in a society where our politicians like to take both sides and flip-flop. She is putting all her cards on the table and I think that is something that Washington should look into doing, instead of doing what they assume they're constituents want, do and say what they believe.
